officer to join our team of high-performing, action oriented professionals and keep our finances
positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company
operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned
strategist not only will understand current accounting practices and trends, but also will have
experience raising capital and adapting to change, as we fulfill our vision. As a member of
senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear, honest
and effective communication skills.

Objectives and Responsibilities
● Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and
financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy
● Drive the company’s financial planning and investment strategies by considering cash
and liquidity risks
● Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as
reporting for the same
● Perform risk management and economic analysis
● Ensure best practices are followed
● Develop and lead a team to service the future needs of the organization
● Lead and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
● Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
● Prepare reliable reporting as required
● Ensure compliance with GAAP, laws and company’s policies
● Other Items as required or requested by the CEO or Board.

Required skills and qualifications
● Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
● Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
● Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
● Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
● Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit
● In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

● Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting method

Preferred skills and qualifications
● Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
● International finance experience
● Professional certification (ex: CPA, CFA)
